Mission Possible – Number 2

Last week I asked you to bake a loaf of bread and deliver it to someone you know. This week the bread I want you to create is Bible bread.

I would love you to read a short passage taken from our recently rebuilt General Conference website. Not only is it more user friendly, it is also the kind of site that is designed for all people to benefit from.

I was recently asked what Bible translation we should use when preparing a sermon. I gave an appropriate answer for that question. The answer to the question might be different for a changed situation.  Have a look here and think through what Bible translation is most appropriate to use when speaking to different people.

Now consider, could you find an appropriate Bible verse in an appropriate translation, and share it with another Christian friend to encourage them?
