Most people don't achieve what they want because they fail to set short term achievable goals. As it were, markers along the way to alert them of their progress and to chunk the task up into manageable bits. Quite often we can become overawed by the task if we stare at it for too long, so we set it aside for it to be overtaken by another pressing issue.
The bible is a wonderful source for when you need to be inspired. Reading it daily will keep you on the right track. Here are just a few that I return to time and time again. I am sure that you have a list of your own.
'Casting all your care upon Him for He cares for you.' 1 Peter 5:7
'But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added onto you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own troubles.' Matthew 6:33-34
'Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.' Joshua 1:9
